The aid will be distributed through key partners like the UN World Food Program, UNICEF, and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs to provide essential support such as food assistance, health care, and protection services to the most vulnerable populations.

In response to the aid announcement, President Bola Tinubu emphasized the importance of self-reliance, stating that no amount of foreign aid can solely fix Nigeria’s challenges.

He stressed the need for collective effort and self-determination to build a better future for the nation and future generations, highlighting the importance of internal collaboration and dedication to national development.
